What Are Taxes?
The American Revolution wasn’t anti-tax; the Founders were for just taxes. Today there are two extreme views about taxes: One group says taxes of any kind are theft; the other treat government as if it has unlimited resources to spend “for the good of the people.” The only cure to these “anti-government” and “big-government” ideas is a balanced approach. We need to understand first: What are taxes? Second: What is Government? This video dwells on taxation and its nature.
